CATCHING UP WITH…is an ongoing series where Fitchburg State alumni reflect on their time here on campus, celebrate their accomplishments and discuss how they got from here to where they are now.
This special two-part episode features five Fitchburg State graduates who attended the Alumni Panel during the 2024 Visions Exhibition, an annual event that showcases the best original work from the students in the Communications Media department. The Alumni Panel invites Fitchburg State graduates back to campus to share their experiences and talk about their careers with students.
The 2024 Alumni Panel was held in April 2024. The event was hosted by Jeff Warmouth, the Chair of the Communications Media department, and features Fitchburg State Graduates:
- Joe Aidonidis (COMM '12) Founder of Great Sky Media.
- Scott Kurland (COMM '09) Executive Director of Leominster Access Television.
- Matthew Krol (COMM '05) Showrunner and Co owner of Extra History and Extra Credits.
- Dan Daly (THEA '09) Scenic Designer at Dan Daly Design.
- Jasmine Cordeiro (COMM '19) Senior Graphic Designer and Production Manager for Jade Marketing.
In Part 1 of this special episode, they talk about their college experiences and how they transitioned into internships and their careers in the professional world, and give us a glimpse into their day-to-day lives.
