Claiming to have been on the 78th floor of the South Tower and losing her fiancé in the North Tower, Head became a prominent figure in the 9/11 survivors' community, eventually leading the World Trade Center Survivors' Network:
Head became the “Celebrity” survivor, her inspiring story was spread far and wide meaning more people had a chance to hear just how truly spectacular her story was.
