The Edmonton Oilers suffered a 3-2 shootout loss to the Detroit Red Wings, despite jumping out to an early 2-0 lead. Momentum shifted in the second period, and the Oilers couldn’t find the game-winner. Stuart Skinner was outstanding, stopping 32 of 34 shots, while Jeff Skinner chipped in with a depth goal.
