Art can help us fully grasp some of the more complex topics we've talked about on NowThis Kids – it can be a therapeutic way to process our feelings during tough times, like getting sick. That’s why this week, host Naomi Wadler is talking about the different ways people can support each other while facing illness in their family.
We speak to Matt Gerson and Tracy Councill who founded Tracy’s Kids, an organization that uses art therapy to help kids in their struggle to overcome cancer. We spoke to them about their own experiences with cancer, and how they’ve helped families cope with a terrible illness.
