The No Need for Prince Charming is proudly brought to you by Solo Mum Society.

Meet Claire and her children, Joshua and Ramani.

In 2003, it wasn’t possible for Claire to use a sperm donor through a clinic as a single woman single woman living in Victoria. A few months after she got the idea of having a child on her own, a shocking cancer diagnosis turned into a silver lining when she was deemed “medically infertile” so she could access treatment. As a result, she is now the proud mum of 18-year-old Joshua and 14-year-old Ramani via IUI. In this episode, we discuss her cancer treatment, meeting her donor and her experiences raising two donor-conceived children over the last 18 years.
