Literacy expert Liz Cannon joins us to reflect on her sabbatical year, where the literacy field is at currently, and where it’s going.

ABOUT LIZ

Liz was last year’s recipient of the Christa McAuliffe Sabbatical and is the founder and owner of Literacy Leaders NH, providing support to educators throughout the state utilizing the science of reading. She has worked as a reading and writing specialist for the last 14 years in the Hopkinton School district and has been an elementary teacher in NH and California. Liz is also in the doctoral program at Southern NH University and a new member of the NHASCD Board of Directors.
