"Long ago, the fandom watched Avatar: The Last Airbender in harmony. Then, everything changed when M. Knight Shyamalan attacked.
"Only the Nerds, masters of amateur opinions, could fix it. But when the movie was made, they were in middle school.
"10 years passed and my friends and I discovered a new Avatar: The Last Airbender adaptation in the works. And although the new show could be great, they have a lot to learn from the 2010 film before they're ready to please the fans.
"But I believe, if they listen to the Nerds, they can save the fandom."
