Mini Episode: Why I Want to Make $100K in 100 Days
Manage episode 358799097 series 3375673
My goal this spring is to make 100K in 100 days.
To be honest, I feel vulnerable talking about it. I’ve run successful businesses in which a thousand dollars a day was doable, but my life was different then. To do it with something I only recently started monetizing without a team feels intimidating.
Money is a big deal to the motherload. The proof? The responses I received on my social media poll regarding the role money plays in the weight mothers carry. One hundred percent of people said it was a huge factor.
I encourage you to join our challenge, regardless of whether or not you’re a mother or entrepreneur. My guess is that at least 95 percent of us have some negativity in our relationships with money. My goal? To become more intimate and find peace in my OWN relationship with it – and to encourage others to do the same.
In this episode you’ll hear about:
- The backstory of this challenge – my friend Lindsay Mango wanted to make 100K in 30 days, which I found so inspiring (she hit this goal, and then some)
- The self-doubt I’m feeling about this challenge, my block this fall, and how this challenge forces me to address my OWN money mindset issues
- Inner work regarding money – why do I still have issues with it at age 40? Where does the discomfort come from?
- Questions for the listener: who do you talk to about money? Peers? Your partner? Your business or coworkers?
- The logistics of the challenge: it starts today, March 23, and spans through June 30; also, anyone can join with their own personal goals!
- How I’ll show up for this challenge: every day I will be honest about what I’m feeling, where I’m at, the results I’m getting, and more
