In this season of the ‘More Than Sunday’ podcast, we're partnering with Austin Street Center to better understand homelessness, advocacy, and empowerment. Hosts Rohini Drake, Director of Online Ministry at First United Methodist Church Richardson, and Daniel Roby, CEO of Austin Street Center, are joined by a new guest each week. In this episode, we sit down with Chris and Ashlee Kleinert, the recipients of the 2024 J. Erik Jonsson Ethics Award, who are known for their advocacy and philanthropic engagement throughout the DFW metroplex. They also founded the Good Foundation and Ruthie's Fueled By Good, a “food truck for good”. Their mission is to serve those in need of a chance for recovery and a fresh start. Please join us for this conversation as we learn what it means to be a more effective advocate for our neighbors in need.
