In her insightful new book GET IT DONE: Surprising Lessons from the Science of Motivation (January 4, Little Brown Spark), scientist and University of Chicago Booth professor of behavioral science Dr. Ayelet Fishbach takes on the questions that plague us most: What happens when the person you most want to influence is yourself? How do you know where to start? How do you carry on in the face of roadblocks and distractions? How do you decide which tasks and ambitions to prioritize?

Dr. Ayelet Fishbach, a leading motivational scientist at University of Chicago, has dedicated much of her extensive career to answering some of the biggest questions on the topic of motivation.
