In this episode, Cartus' Andy Conduit-Turner and Beth Schaedel join Ada Yang, Client Services Director at Certino, to discuss the ever-evolving world of global tax gross-ups and the two companies’ new and exciting partnership will deliver the world’s first automated tax gross-up solution as part of a holistic talent mobility program.
Our guests:

Ada Yang | Client Services Director | Certino

Ada (FCCA, CTA, ATT) has over 20 years of experience in tax advisory, tax technology, and global project management. She is also an experienced project manager (PRINCE2 Practitioner) with extensive work experience in the UK and overseas. In the past 10 years, Ada has specialized in the design, implementation, and enhancement of technology- and data-enabled tax and compliance solutions. Ada frequently presents at Big 4 internal and client events, working with HR, Tax, Payroll, and Finance professionals in establishing an efficient cross-border compliance approach at both strategic and operational level.
In her previous roles, she also managed workforce mobility programs for global organizations from an expatriate tax perspective, with a strong focus on process improvement and enhanced client experience.

Beth Schaedel | Director, Global Wage and Compensation | Cartus

Beth has worked at Cartus for over 25 years, holding various positions in Treasury, Finance, and Accounting. She has personal experience in relocation, having moved around the US several times in her career. Beth chairs Cartus' Internal Employee DEI Council, which focuses on initiatives that raise awareness, educate, inspire, and engage our employees in order to continually adapt, learn, and improve every aspect of our business. She is also the owner of our Emerging Leaders Program focused on the continued development of our future leaders across the globe.

Our host:

Andy Conduit-Turner

Andy has performed a number of roles throughout his global mobility career with Cartus, which followed his own time living and working internationally. After building his skills in both account management and transformation projects, when asked to describe his role today as Director, Sustainable Growth Enablement, Andy’s one word response is, “Questions.” Specifically answering the questions that our partners and the broader mobility community have for us, and asking our own in order to move our innovations in the direction that best serves our clients, as well helping to support the long-term, sustainable growth of our solutions.
