About the episode:
If you're like the millions Americans with outstanding loans, paying off debt is a constant struggle. Whether it's credit card debt, car payments, or student loans, making those monthly payments can feel overwhelming. But what happens when the clock stops ticking?
That's precisely what happened three years ago when the former U.S. president Donald Trump paused federal student loan repayments at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. For over three years, payments and interest were on hold.
Last month, repayments resumed — and suddenly, millions of Americans are now back on the hook for average monthly payments.

Join us as our host Justin Zacks discusses the impact of the restart of student loan repayments and debunks some of the most common misconceptions surrounding student debt. Whether you're struggling with your student loans or want to understand the wider impact it has on the lives of borrowers, this episode has got you covered.
