Hello and welcome to this truly inspiring episode where I am joined by Alex Durdowski of Overland Missions, a wonderful organization whose primary purpose is to bring the Gospel and build relationships with some of the most remote and neglected people on earth.
In this episode, Alex takes us on his journey doing missionary work. He starts off by explaining how he was able to pursue a relationship with God through prayer and determination to hear His voice. While it took him time to realize just how exactly he should be praying with the advice of a mentor, God spoke to him and revealed His plan for Alex to spread the Gospel.
As a missionary, Alex explains the challenges he had to face in the beginning, the pros and cons of visiting other countries, and the misconceptions people have about what missionaries should or shouldn't be/have. In spite of all the obstacles he has had to face to pursue what God wanted him to pursue, Alex is living a life he loves by doing what he loves.
