November Monthly Challenge Announcement - Resilience Ops

Now that the new objective deck is out in circulation, for the November monthly challenge we’d like to hear about your games with the new Resilience Ops mission.

What combination of objectives have most challenged you? What wacky hijinks have ensued different pairings of battlefield conditions? How has Resilience Ops changed how your lists and list pairings?

***Q3-Q4 Hobby Challenge - Narrative Story***

Continuing LoL’s drive to get people into the creative side of Infinity, for quarter three and four we are asking our listeners to write us a short narrative story.

The infinity universe has a rich and diverse background, with so many source books to choose from it’s a perfect time to create some new stories from the Human Sphere!

Is there a unit or character in your army who has performed so heroically over the course of multiple games they deserve to have a story written about them?

Or is there a piece of background you’ve read or heard about that's just crying out to be expanded?

Well now’s your chance to express yourself through the written word.

Please try to stick to a limit of no more than 2000 words, as these are supposed to be short stories.
Alternatively, a 10 minute audio recording would also be welcome.

At the end of the quarter we will pick our favourites and give them the White Noise treatment of reading them out on the show!

Because this is a two-quarter challenge, two random entries will win a small box set of their choice from Toy Soldier Imports!

Winner goes onto the Throw the Dice Hall of Fame wall.

South Perth Brawl 2023 - Western Australia’s Premier ITS Event

25 November at the South Perth Community Hall

4 rounds in one day! Overall winner receives the traditional South Perth Brawl Broadsword.

In addition to normal prize support, each round has a bounty:

Round 1 Evacuation - Guardian Angel bounty for the most Extracted Civilians and HVTs.

Round 2 Countermeasures - Quite Professional bounty for the most Mission Objectives accomplished.

Round 3 Firefight - Collector bounty for the most things acquired from Panoplies.

Round 4 Cutthroat - Tier 1 Operator bounty for the most enemy Troopers killed by your Key Ops.

Come on down to House of War on Saturday the 2nd of December for Melbourne’s first Resilience Operations and Reinforcements tournament! 3 rounds of Resilience Ops, and as a community we decided to test having a reinforcements optional event, testing how well a standard list pairs against a reinforcement list.
