Hey there cutie pies! We're back this week to talk about our Top 24 Tips for 2024. In this episode we're chatting about all things helpful. Things you might have thought about, things we're pretty sure you never thought you'd care about and so much more. So what might these things include? Well here are a few but you'll have to tune in for the entire list. And these are in no specific order, just our most helpful advice, tips and tricks cause well you know, we love you and want you to have a fantastical event!

  • Establish a main "point of contact" (POC) for decisions throughout the planning process, and then for the wedding/event day. Of course this should be your planner on the day-of, but if you don't have one (tisk-tisk) then be sure to assign this to someone that's organized, confident and commands attention.
  • Make a wedding website. This one's been around a while but a lot of couples under-value its' necessity. Think about just how many emails you get during the planning process. Dedicating an email will keep your tension down and help you time-block when YOU are ready to respond.
  • If you have feet, break in your shoes!
  • Practice tying your tie.
  • Try on and steam/iron all of your clothes well before wedding day. Simple touches can be done day of.
  • Consider custom menu cards...tune in to why we recommend this.
  • Pack tupperware or strudy/secure "to go" containers. The reason is likely not what you are thinking...it's not for that left over catering food. Extra tip, by health regulations, most caterers won't send home all the left overs anyway. You'll get a snack box, but that's about it. So order wisely when working with catering....this is a whole other topic.
  • The 3-Second Rule...yep, we're gonna make you tune in for this one too!
  • What to do in the last 2-weeks of the planning process. Hint...this also isn't what you think :)

Alrighty, that's enough for now...you get the gist. Tune in for all the dirty deets and drop us a line if you have tips you think we should shout out for our 25 in 2025 list.
