What is your parenting style?

We know there are so many different styles of parenting, and there isn’t one universal style that works for everyone. Every child is different and has their own unique needs. Around here, we’ve found that gentle parenting is the most beneficial for our family.

So what is gentle parenting, really? And why does it work? We believe that some forms of discipline promote fear, and fear never leads to good behavior. When kiddos feel safe, loved, and respected, they are more likely to behave. Positive reinforcement really goes a long way!

In our episode today, we are sharing more about our parenting style, some tricks we’ve found that work for us, and some good old-fashioned encouragement to parents. At the end of the day, you know what’s best for you and your kiddos. God chose you to be their parents, and that means you are the best one for the job!

Episode Highlights:

  • Encouraging Moms to lean into gentle parenting.
  • Discipline is not punishment.
  • Kids don’t behave out of fear.
  • There are different types of parenting.
  • We aren’t defined by our past.
  • It’s never too late to make a change.
