Daisy and Luke are celebrating an LAFC derby win and here to remind y'all to be an ally. So this episode features two LAFC podcast hosts - JR Lebert (@lafc_thescarf on Insta and Twitter) and Travis Helwig (@travishelwig on Insta and Twitter) - who themselves are straight allies to the LGBTQ+ community.
There's lots to recap at the start of the show, including cool news from overseas and announcing the winner of LGBT FC's first-ever Sexiest Men's Footballer March Madness Tourney.
At 15' the Day in Gay brings some ups and downs - some anti-LGBTQ+ bills dying and others rising from the dead - followed by a sweet story from the south of Spain, an unexpected story out of the women's NCAA tourney, and a big surprise from professional women's basketball.
Then it's time to hear from our allies. First, at 21'30", JR Lebert, host of Defenders of the Banc (@defendthebanc on Insta and Twitter), shares about being a teacher and organizer of youth soccer leagues.
