The Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers guitarist discusses why he wanted the new record to feel grander than the boogie rock of The Dirty Knobs' first two LPs, as well as honoring his legacy with music and perfecting a certain "effortless" style. He also dives into the many guests of Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits, like Chris Stapleton, Graham Nash, and Lucinda Williams

Campbell also touches on reuniting with The Heartbreakers to play with Bob Dylan at last year's Farm Aid. Speaking of all-time greats, he then tells the story of getting called out by George Harrison for his Harrison-esque guitar part on The Wallflowers "6th Avenue Heartache."
