The idea behind Zillow’s Zestimate feature is to give you an estimate of your home’s value. While we truly believe that Zillow is generally a great real estate resource, we recommend being careful about the Zestimate feature in particular.
The Zestimate gives you a very vague idea of what your home is actually worth. In most areas, they are only within 10% of the actual value 50% of the time. So, if you have a $500,000 house, half the time Zillow will tell you it’s worth somewhere between $450,000 and $550,000. That’s a huge range, and half the time Zillow will not even put your home value inside it!
If you want an accurate idea of how much your home is worth, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to provide you with a free market analysis so you can get a clear picture of what your home is really worth! Give us a call or shoot us an email at any time. We would love to hear from you!
