Kent Hughes writes of chapter 16, "THE FINAL CHAPTER of this letter seems a bit anticlimactic. Chapter 15 was a lengthy and beautiful treatment of the most pivotal event in human history—the resurrection of Jesus Christ. So anything that comes after that seems like a postscript. In fact, at the end of Paul’s letters he appears to be cramming in a bunch of disjointed thoughts before the curtain closes. But through these final instructions, what the reader sees emerging is a portrait of a community that lives in light of that event that changed the world—the kind of community that the church is supposed to be. And very simply put, it’s one that mends what’s torn, that rights what’s wrong—that reconciles. How?
