You are being spied on right now. Acccording to Tor Project advocate and computer scientist Moritz Bartl, there is very little you can do about it. Governments and big corporations are aligned in the pursuit of your personal data, and they are winning the battle for online privacy. But there are a few brave people who are fighting back. And one of their weapons is the Tor Anonymity Network. It allows the user to surf, communicate, and just be online anonymously. I talked with Moritz about how the Tor Anonymity Network actually works, and if in fact having no privacy is the new normal.
