In this Episode of “Intentional Conversations with Robin May and Friends” we continue our conversation with my big sis…my only biological sister (She wants to make sure we know that! Lol!) Kimberly!

We are in the middle of a series: “Friendship Therapy” and in the conversation with Kim, we are unpacking Conflict in Friendship.

During Part 1 we unpacked, in great detail, how Kim handles (or handled) conflict in Friendship. When you think of the concept of: Flight, Flight or Freeze, then you will understand that Kim definitely was a FIGHTER! Not necessarily physically, but definitely verbally.

Well, in Part 2…it’s my turn! During this conversation we discuss:

• The way I (Robin) have handled conflict in the past

• Why Kimberly admits that she would have missed out on a relationship with me, if we were not sisters, BECAUSE of the way I handle conflict

• How one approach is not “better” than the other. Just different…with its own consequences

• The benefit of TOUGH conversations and how I often missed out on the benefit because of my response to conflict

• How critically important transparency is in Friendship

• What it means for people to “BE FAIR” when it comes to unpacking their role in conflict

Yes, we discuss all of that and so much more in Part 2 of our chat.

And we really want to hear from you. How do you handle conflict, particularly in the area of Friendship? If you had to pick a team, after hearing both of our conflict perspectives, whose team are you on? Team Kim or Team Robin? What was your main take-away from our conversation?
