We’re digging deep into neurology and learning some components of behavior change to help reduce how we respond to threat. Pain is just one output of our nervous system that’s under threat. However it’s very possible to train the nervous system to move out of certain threat responding behaviors with somatic processing.

Here's what we're talking about in today's episode:

  • Elisabeth’s journey
  • Using physical movement as a healing mechanism
  • Cultivating interception
  • How trauma can disassociate us from our bodies
  • Applying neurology to our own experiences
  • Moving out of survival mode and getting into performance mode
  • Intuitive eating
  • Moving with intention
  • Nervous system outputs that are trying to keep us safe

In this episode, we’re sitting down with Elisabeth Kristof, founder of Brain-Based Wellness, a holistic practice that combines applied neuroscience with strategic 'drills' and workouts to achieve deep and lasting well-being through the integration of neural exercises that include vision and balance exercises.

Tune in to today’s highly intriguing episode with Elisabeth as she shares her story on how she got started and her expertise on how we can teach our bodies to work together with the brain so that we can achieve optimal performance in whatever we do.
