This week’s guest is Alix Hubble, founder of ChickFit, a women’s health and fitness coaching business, where she works one to one, in groups and online with women at all ages and stages, from pregnancy right through to the menopause years.

Alix focuses upon giving a healthy and holistic approach to healing the body and regaining fitness, by combining exercise with soft tissue and massage therapy, nutrition, self-care and day to day strategies.

In this insightful conversation, we explore;

- How she moved from a successful career in advertising in order to set up her own business as a personal trainer, and how that business has continued to evolve ever since

- How even she doesn’t spring out of bed desperate to do a workout every day and it’s ok to have ups and downs

- How we simply have to stop ignoring ourselves and rather to really look after ourselves as we get older

- That we can fall into a vicious or virtuous cycle … this was such a lightbulb moment for me

- The importance of starting small with looking after ourselves

- Her wonderful recommendation of what to do if we literally only have two minutes to ourselves As well as all of this and so much more, of course I ask Alix the toughest and best part of being a business owner as well as How DOES she do it?!
