Dr. Timothy Patisas wears many hats. He devotedly serves as the Dean of Hellenic College in Brookline, Massachusetts, and has also been the Director of the Hellenic College Religious Studies Program, the assistant Professor of Ethics for Holy Cross, and the director of the St. Helen’s Pilgrimage for Holy Cross students. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Georgetown University of Foreign Service, an MDiv from Holy Cross, and a doctorate from the Catholic University of America. In addition to writing The Ethics of Beauty, Dr. Patitsas continues his research in complexity, economics, and anthropology; he is also the co-founder of the Orthodox company Beauty First Films, which recently released its debut feature: Amphilochios, Saint of Patmos.
