Sadly, the two of us were sick all throughout Indian Wells and our voices were…not ideal for podcasting. Now that we have recovered we are back to do what we do best and talk tennis! We start with an important discussion about domestic violence on the ATP tour, discussing the stories of Zverev, Basilashvili, Seyboth Wild, and Kyrgios that have come to surface. We recap the desert action and discuss Badosa’s breakthrough win, the depth on the WTA tour right now, and other notable IW players like Azarenka, Ostapenko, and Jabeur, who made history this week by entering the top 10 and becoming the highest ranked Arab player in tennis history! On the ATP side, we discussed Norrie’s college tennis roots and his career-best season this year, along with Dimitrov's stellar run, Fritz’ SoCal success and our conspiracy theory that Andy Murray does not in fact have metal hips because how the heck is that guy still running around like a god. Don't miss our celebration of the doubles champions, especially Hsieh Su-Wei's green dragon hat. In perfect HOTYR fashion, jokes and thirsting are a given in this episode, so tune in and hold on to your racket. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/holdontoyourracket/message
