Before Liza takes the show out on the road, "The Peculiar Patriot" will have a run at the National Black Theatre of Harlem starting July 11. Liza, who spent two decades working with inmates at Rikers Island, tells us how "The Peculiar Patriot" came about, what it was like performing it in front of inmates and if she ever thinks we will see real prison reform in the U.S. In “The POTSie,” Tom talks about how detrimental the high temperatures that have been plaguing New York City are affecting his system — and sounds off on some online trolls offering their disproving two cents about medical marijuana.
