As an image consultant, I’m always watching out for trends. Color and style trends, yes. But even more importantly, I’m looking out for common themes, frustrations, and pain points among my clients, podcast listeners, and email community. There’s been a trend happening over the past month or so that I can’t brush under the rug. I’ve had multiple women complain to me recently that they‘ve been struggling with impulse shopping from the Instagram swipe up feature.

And friend, I get it! As a former shopaholic, I know the instant gratification that comes with buying that cute thing you saw on your favorite influencer, in a targeted ad, or offered up in your inbox along with an unexpected flash sale.

It’s hard to say “no”. But if you want to build a wardrobe you love, then it’s time to start shopping with intention. You know I’m all about buying less and shopping smarter. So today, I’m going to share 5 different strategies you can implement right now to curb your social media-induced shopping splurges and start streamlining what’s in your closet.
