New York City 1991, A woman runs up to police looking for help. She tells them a horrific story about what has just happened to her. Within weeks 2 young men are arrested for crimes against this woman. The men plead their innocents, but they are not heard by the courts. Despite a lack in forensic and physical evidence both men are found guilty and sentenced to prison. 26 years later the innocents project gets involved and they find out what police should have discovered 26 years earlier.
