It was a cool autumn day and the year was 1934. Delia Budd had just received a letter in the mail. Unfortunately, due to her lack of education, she was unable to read it outright herself. She asked her son Edward to assist her. Edward peered at the letter, and slowly unfolded it, taking in its contents. As the words danced across his gaze, Delia watched as her son's expression grew from puzzlement, to shock, and finally to horror.
Shortly after, Edward went running towards the police station, letter in hand, and soon its horrific contents would shed light on the truth about a man who on the outside, appeared like a gentle, meek old man… but in reality he was a depraved monster.
Today’s Halloween tale is one that is truly unimaginable and it’s the horrifying story of Albert Fish, also known as the Brooklyn Vampire.
