077: Why I Don’t Work In The Office

Work from home is a norm for us.

For obvious reasons, working from home helps me save costs. Office spaces in Singapore can be expensive. 💸

But, why I am a strong advocate of working from home is because I hire creatives and millennials.

We all know millennials have their own way of thinking. Their generation is independent and have their own ideals. Forcing them into a 9-5 job in a boring office space stunts their creativity.

I don't want that. ❌

For creatives, idea pops in anytime, anywhere and I don't want them to keep it in until they've reached the office. If they feel the inspiration come on, I want to give them the freedom to act on it immediately.

The productivity has never been an issue for me or my staff.

Moreover, it's no point keeping them in the office if they've finished their work. Some people come to the office everyday but don't get much work done anyways 🤷🏻‍♂️
