I think business or entrepreneurship is probably one of the hardest things anyone can ever sign up for and this isn’t trying to put a negative spin on it, I also believe that it can be one of the most rewarding things anyone can do. Not a lot gets spoken about about what it takes to create a level of success no matter how big or small. It’s easy to talk about the good stuff, the wins or the 'shiny end game'. However, this can only happen as a byproduct of a lot of hard work, failures, hardship, determination, bleeding, battles, rejection, late nights, and being broke at times. This is real, this is genuine, and isn't genuinely what people want to express along the way, however this genuinely fascinates me! Any business or successful entrepreneur has always, no matter who they are or what they do, had to endure the above in some way shape or form, and put in a level of Graft. I also think that being an ‘entrepreneur’ is a mindset and a spirit, and you can be one as an employee, its also can be applied to everyday life, however this doesn’t get mentioned a lot. I think that as we move into a new generation, more and more people will be venturing in to Business and away from ‘corporate culture' as the world is different now and the way the world works is changing, and this is a good thing. The only problem is that the level of Graft it takes can be underestimated, especially as we live in a fast efficient world, and this can mislead people to think that building something is also easy, fastened efficient! The problem being is that a lot of stuff gets posted about ‘success’ and people buy in to instant ‘gratification’ without realising it takes a lot of work to get there. If you speak to anyone who is successful even if they are employed, no matter what industry or sector, or at any level they will always have this crazy story about how they started, and no doubt some tough moments they have endured to get to where they are. This is interesting, this is real, this is noble and what I think is inspiring, and people need to hear it. I myself have also been on a journey of being in business, being employed and now embarking on it all over again. So I want to share these stories, put out some real honest content and share a message that I think matters and you the listener can find valuable.
