Welcome to Day 18 of our Restoration Series, we consider the concept of delighting in the Lord, as inspired by Psalm 37:4 and Psalm 126:3. To delight in God means to be soft, delicate, and pliable qualities that make us easy to work with in God's hands.
In the place of prayer, we don't aim to change God's will; instead, prayer changes us by softening our hearts. This softened heart allows us to align more closely with God's desires, which are always greater than our own. Spiritual maturity is characterized by this pliability; the more pliable we become, the more spiritually mature we are.
Revelation 4:11 reminds us that everything created has a purpose. The enemy often tries to pervert God's pleasures, but through our pliability, we can resist these perversions and fulfill God's purposes.
