Katie Anthonyson is an up-and-coming poet from Indianapolis. Her love of poetry has led her to found Youth Speaks, a non-profit organization that brings poetry and spoken word to schools in the Indianapolis area. In this conversation, we talk about her background and her discovery of her writing voice, her dreams for Youth Speaks, and the importance of relevancy in modern poetry.
