Then assembly member Gail Pellerin told us about the swearing in ceremony in the assembly, likening it to the first day of a new school year. The assembly is very nearly an even mix of men and women now.
Michael Olson gave us the numbers of how many people working in agriculture in California are not in the country legally. If a significant portion of them are made to leave, it will have a big impact on the industry.
