To celebrate Black History Month, documentary filmmaker Brandon Kramer and story producer Chris Jenkins sat down to talk with HFPA journalist Kimberly Reyes about their new documentary The First Step, which follows progressive activist and political commentator Van Jones in his efforts to pass legislation that would reform the criminal justice system.
