Old school shows are making as comeback we get to relive or see an update or continuation of shows we enjoyed as kids but after seeing the response to and the reimagining of many of these properties are we right for the criticism or are we painting a rose-colored picture of our past.
Now don’t get me wrong I had a great childhood but it wasn’t perfect. Neither were the shows I watched as a kid. So many wouldn’t fly in today’s world and it really shows the individual prejudices we accepted. Nostalgia clouds our perception our memories are some what brighter than what they really were.
Cartoons in the '80s were filled with magical ponies, robots in disguise, and a lot of things that definitely wouldn't make it onto air today!
