The Montreal podcast that asks storyteller, writer and podcast Erica J. Schmidt: When you’re riding shotgun and the driver is being irresponsible, how do you handle it? That question was asked by our last guest Raajiee Chelliah in episode 283.

Erica J. Schmidt joins Chris Venditto and I this week to talk about her podcast “This is your strange and beautiful life.” It’s a great show were Erica celebrates her guests’ lives and achievements and everything wraps up with a ukulele performance with Erica and her guest of variable quality. You can find “This is your strange and beautiful life” wherever you get your podcasts (or on Erica’s website).

But there’s more! If you do visit that website do yourself a favour and explore Erica’s blog – especially her three-part blog on “Mammoth Complex” since we talk about that quite a bit in this episode. I would say this episode has the faintest of content warnings attached to it – we get a little more personal than we usually do but that’s fine. We’re not just about watching wrestling and complaining about HBO shows.

Enjoy the episode!

Credit Where Credit is Due

As always, a big thank you to the providers of our theme song: Leighland Beckman and Aural Turpitude!

He’s @chrisvenditto on Twitter and Instagram so you should follow him on those two things. He also produces shows with the guys at Perfect Bite Productions who you should also follow on Instagram and on Facebook.

Keith does all sorts of things here on 9to5.cc, he works with the other founders on 9to5 (illustrated), co-hosts our two podcasts: The 9to5 Entertainment System and Go Plug Yourself and sometimes blogs here as The Perspicacious Geek.
