Episode 63 of Gaming Couch! And not exaclty a happy one.

Playing Phoenix Point and getting into Cyberpunk 2.0.2.0 recently got me thinking a bit. Games are a greatway to answer some really tough, hypothetical questions. What if a virus broke out that could kill all humans? What if I was forced to choose who to rescue during a zombie attack? We can ask these questions and give answers. However, what if we had to actually act out these answers, even if it is in a game and not real? I think games give us a chance to be immersed enough in things that have really happened, or could really happen, and find out how we would handle it. This is certainly a conversation we should be having.

Quick little link. The opening talks about WoW's Corrupted Blood outbreak and how it turned into a real life case study. Here is one article about it. If you want more, simply google 'WoW Corrupted Blood' to get plenty of information.
