The passage for today is Proverbs 26:12. It says, "Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him."

This verse tells us that it is dangerous to think that we know everything. When we think we know it all, we stop learning and growing. We also become arrogant and prideful, which are both sins.

Humility is the opposite of arrogance. It is being honest with ourselves about our strengths and weaknesses. It is also being open to learning new things and growing in our knowledge and understanding.

Humility is important for Christians because it helps us to rely on God. When we realize that we don't know everything, we are more likely to turn to God for guidance and wisdom. Humility also helps us to be more compassionate and understanding towards others. When we realize that we are all sinners, we are less likely to judge others.

Let's all strive to be more humble. Let's be honest with ourselves about our strengths and weaknesses, and let's be open to learning new things. Let's also be compassionate and understanding towards others, remembering that we are all sinners.
