The late Harvard professor, David McClelland spent most of his life studying motivation and said that up to 95% of our success or failure in life is determined by the people we habitually surround ourselves with. It's not just the people you surround yourself with…it’s the people of the people of the people you surround yourself with according to the first major study on social influence. Researchers discovered a very powerful link between a person’s success and the people they surround themselves with.
