I have an old Ruger Blackhawk that I bought used with an aftermarket set of white plastic imitation ivory grips on it. I like how they look but they hang down below the bottom of the grip frame by like 1/32 of an inch. Is there a good way to sand down plastic grips like that to match the grip frame without them ending up looking like shit?
