Jacob climbs some type of steroid-fueled, Miracle-Gro induced spruce tree to try to tell Bella why he's been acting so strange. But we finally learn his secret in this episode! In learning in secret, we are also brought more into Jacob's world. We also learn one of Catherine's darkest secrets (she started The Chamber of Secrets before The Sorcerer's Stone) and Brittany dies of second hand embarrassment, but that's a wolf thing. You don't need to worry about it.
