We’re living in challenging times. But remember this: God is not surprised by any of it. He’s not shaken, and we don’t have to be either. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
As we consider the season we are in with the upcoming election and all the challenges we are facing as a nation–let’s set our hearts to seek God, thanking Him for his goodness, giving him our concerns, and believing him for his best in our lives and in our nation.
