Everyone has a dream. But sometimes there’s a gap between where we are and where we want to be. True, there are some people who can bridge that gap easily, on their own, but all of us need a little help at some point. A little boost. An accountability partner. A Snooze Squad. In each episode, the Snooze Squad will strategize an action plan for people to face their fears. Guests will transform their own perception of their potential and walk away a few inches closer to who they want to become ...

This being the 100th episode, I thought I'd devote it to sharing some of the lessons I've learned about business and life while producing this podcast over the past few years. I hope you enjoy it and that some of these lessons resonate with you. Here are 10 life and business lessons I've learned in the last 100 episodes: Have fun and enjoy the process. Every day, I become more and more convinced that joy is everything. It's our purpose, our reason for being, what we come from, what we want, and what we'll one day return to.Don't take yourself or life too seriously. Years ago I ran across a quote attributed to The Buddha. It went something like this, "Act as if the fate of the world depends upon what you do right now, while laughing at yourself for thinking so." That pretty much sums it up.Where you end up might not look like where you thought you'd end up. Our race mind doesn't have the broader perspective that our higher divine mind does. Because of this, things don't always unfold the way we think they will.Take the shot (take lots and lots of shots). The best way to get better at something is to do it more often. So, learning to take a lot of shots, try lots of things, and then try again is a hugely beneficial process for mastery.Do what you love. Everything sucks some of the time. When you're doing what you love, however, you have the energy and drive to get through the times that suck.Chase the meaning. The best game plan in life is to invest your time and vital life energy pursuing something that fills your own cup up while also helping other people get what they want.Trust your intuition. Tuning in to the infinite wisdom within us is absolute game changer. Everything we need to know is within. Our work is to stay in touch with that wisdom and implement it more often.Pay attention to feedback from other people. If we pay attention, people will tell us how they want us to help and serve them. Our work is to listen for their feedback. If you aren't getting any feedback, well, then that's feedback in an of itself. As a friend of mine used to say, "Learn to listen to what people don't say."Develop your courage muscle. It's can be scary to create something and share it with the world. It's much safer to just lay low and not create anything. But that's not going to get us where we want to be. We'd also get really bored eventually. Creating courageously is the name of the game.Pivot, but never quit. It's pretty clear that life is all about the art of the pivot. If something doesn't work, our work is to change our approach (and our mindset) and give it another go. Eventually, as we get better, results come. No one has all the answers and nothing comes as easy as we think it will. That's what makes the game so fun and challenging! Thanks for listening! I hope you enjoyed this episode.
