Episode 107: Liz Allan with Chris and Julie Ramsey - Conquering Pole-to-Pole in an Electric Vehicle.

Liz Allan speaks to the extraordinary adventurers Chris and Julie Ramsey. They deep dive into their groundbreaking pole-to-pole expedition, which showcased the capabilities of EVs and left behind a legacy of permanent infrastructure for future EV drivers. Spanning a jaw-dropping 21,000 miles, crossing 14 countries and three continents, their journey from the 1823 Magnetic North Pole was anything but ordinary. Chris and Julie share the meticulous 6-year planning process involving collaborations with the Kazakhstan government, the World Future Energy Summit, and global expos. With support from organizations like Arctic Trucks and Nissan, they equipped their vehicle, "Sonrisa," a modified Nissan Aria, to tackle the harshest terrains and climates imaginable.
