The Book: After immigrating from Colombia to the United States as a young child followed by a devastating loss and financial hardship, Luz Arteaga-Pray overcame these struggles and ultimately achieved the American dream. She was blessed with a jaw-droppingly handsome, hardworking husband, four beautiful children, a gorgeous countryside home on the family’s farmland and a thriving business. What more could a girl ask for? In her memoir, Morphing in Stillness, Arteaga-Pray reflects on her abundant life and evolution of self-discovery that led her to surrender it all.
