Over the past few weeks, I have been reaching out to local officials here in Virginia Beach running for office to get their take on the future of the city. This series is what they had to say (not about who they are running against) but why they chose to run and what they plan to do if elected.

On this episode, we’re sitting down with Michael Berlucchi, a dedicated community advocate who is seeking reelection as the council member for District 3 in Virginia Beach. Since recording this episode several of his objectives have been met (from the serving military spouses whose family members died in training. To prevention care for our local fire department).

Michael has served our city with passion and commitment, focusing on issues that directly impact the lives of residents—from improving public safety and enhancing infrastructure to supporting local businesses and preserving our vibrant coastal environment.
