XDefiant - Ubisoft’s free-to-play FPS is finally launching pre-season on May21. Pre-season will last 6 weeks before season 1 officially launches. It will launch with 14 maps and 24 weapons, and is said to feature gameplay elements from other games in the Tom Clancy universe. (Splinter Cell???) it will feature multiple factions at launch. Once season 1 launches they will be adding 4 new factions, 12 new weapons, and 12 new maps.

Gen V - Star Chance Perdomo’s role as Andre Anderson will not be recast for the second season. Production has been rightfully delayed.

"As we continue to navigate the tragic loss of Chance Perdomo, everyone at Gen V is determined to find the best way to pay respect to his memory," the statement from the Gen V producers released on X (formerly Twitter) reads. Chris Evans - The Captain America actor is ONCE AGAIN being rumored to be returning to Marvel. This time from more relevant leakers… though still seems unlikely. Interesting twist is that he is rumored for BOTH of his previous characters to be returning, Johnny Storm AND Steve Rogers, in Deadpool & Wolverine, and Avengers: Secret Wars respectively.

New Rumors

Linkin Park - Entertaining reunion offers. The rumor mysteriously excludes Joe Hahn and Rob Bourbon. Said to be eyeing 2025 for the tour, and also looking for a female replacement of Chester.

Ben Affleck MCU - New rumor has it that Affleck will be joining the MCU in a somewhat abbreviated capacity. NOT as a cameo in his former role as the Man Without Fear, BUT as an as yet undisclosed role. Speculation has it that he could be playing Norman Osborne (Dark Avengers) or even Dr Doom, albeit from a different timeline likely.

The Avengers 6 - The new rumor for the Avengers movie post Secret Wars is that Marvel is making it another mashup in X-Men VS Avengers.

Star Wars - George Lucas is rumored to be returning to the franchise that made him an extremely wealthy man. The rumor says that he will be involved with a new live-action series.

A different rumor has it that Jon Favreau is leaving the franchise. Said to be over creative differences with Filoni, and that Mandalorian and Grogu is only a rumored project. All of which points to a big NOTHING BURGER!

World War Hulk - One of the leads into Secret Wars. Set to feature more “street-level’ superheroes, WITHOUT Mark Ruffalo. Likely someone mixing their signals from a bigger more likely rumor

Avengers 5 - Smaller team of heroes not to include the Fantastic Four, with previous MCU actors being told to keep their “schedules open.” This rumor includes the possibility of Kang making a return, as well as Dr Strange.

Apocalypse - The Rock now rumored to play the first mutant
