Nan is a multidisciplinary artist combining theater, improvisation, and music, and she has been involved in a number of musical projects including Bionic Finger, Schwervon!, and Nan + The One Night Stands. Nan discusses her life and early experiences with theater and music, how she made the move to Kansas City and adjusted to life on and off the road, some ways that she has dealt with the pandemic, and how the music industry specifically needs more support for mental health and inclusiveness for all kinds of artists.
